The Satya Sai Central Trust has reportedly requested the state government to appoint a special officer to over see the unlocking of the Yajurmandiram where the world famous spiritual guru Sri Satya Sai Baba lived till the day of his hospitalization.

 

It may be mentioned that the Yajurmandiram has of late been making news after Sai Baba’s hospitalization and passing away as it reportedly contained a treasure of gold, silver and cash donated by devotees to the late spiritual master.

 

The officials of the Trust said the Yajurmandiram remained closed after the Baba was taken to the hospital. Media reports suggested that the keys of the Yajurmandiram were taken away by one of the influential Trust members from Satyajit who served the Baba as a personal aide. A section of the media also alleged that the influential member eyed for the treasure in the Yajurmandiram.

 

A leading newspaper said some days ago two truck loads of gold were shifted to Bangalore from Yajurmandiram by some of the Trust members secretly. The Trust however denied the allegations.

 

Devotees are also anxiously waiting for its reopening with the fond hope that some truths may come out from the Yajurmandiram. Let us also wait for its unlocking.
