Amid speculation that he may be appointed as a deputy to the chief minister Kirankumar reddy, Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said today that he was not aiming for the post of PCC chief.

Speaking to media persons in the Secretariat, Botsa said he is neither in the race for the new PCC chief post nor the high command talked to him about it. Botsa’s statement strengthens news reports that his name is being considered for the post of the Deputy Chief Minister along with another minister Damodar Rajanarashimha.

Immediately after Botsa’s press conference, another minister Kanna Lakshminarayana told journalists that he is in the race for the post of the PCC chief. Earlier, there are reports that congress party high command is considering chief whip Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for the post of the PCC chief in place of D. Srinivas.
