Agriculture Minister YS Vivekananda reddy tendered an apology to the members this evening for his behaviour in the morning session of the assembly and said he was really feeling sorry for what has happened.
“I tried to attack the member in a fit of anger as I was unable to control myself when TDP members held placards describing YSR as a thief and I have nothing against the member personally,” he said adding that he was seeking the apologies of the house for his behaviour.
When TDP MLAs in the assembly held placards that read “YSR dongala mutha” (YSR’s gang of thieves), Viveka, angered by the display and abuse, barged towards Muddukrishnama Naidu threateningly, took out the placards from him and tore them away.
He did not stop at that but went on to hold the collar of another TDP MLA Mr Prabhakar and called him ‘bastard’ reportedly. Some of his colleagues came to the rescue of the shocked TDP MLA and pushed away the Minister when he was about to slap him.
