Update on YS Bhaskar Reddy Bail Petition:- YS Bhaskar Reddy's bail petition was heard by Telangana High Court on Friday. YS Bhaskar Reddy, father of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy and Gajjala Uday Kumar Reddy was arrested in YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case.

Bhaskar Reddy requested the court to grant him bail, who was arrested five months ago. Court has adjourned the bail petitions on August 24th for further hearing.

Justice K Lakshman of Telangana High Court on Friday directed the staff to allow the case number by following the petition filed by the retired IAS officer Ajey Kallem. He complained to the court that the CBI officials had distorted the statements and linked him to the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case.

Kallem said they claimed his presence at YS Jagan Reddy's house on the day of the murder. Earlier the registry has raised objections of allocating the number to the case, but the Telangana High Court has overruled the objections.

YS Vivekananda Reddy was a former Kadapa MP and was murdered at his residence in Pulivendula, Kadapa district on 15th March 2019.
