The Trustees of the Satya Sai Central Trust, facing various allegations of misuse of Trust funds, have reportedly taken steps to limit the movements of the late Satya Sai’s personal care giver Satyajit to the Prashanthy Nilayam to ensure he would not come in contact with any media person. Reports have indicated that he was now made a hostage by the Trust members.

 

Satyajit, who served the Baba for several years till the latter breathed his last, is in the knowledge of secrets of the Trust and the members of the Trust do not want him to come in contact with media with the fear that he may spill the beans.

 

Prominent Telugu daily Andhra Jyothy alleged that Satya Sai’s health was spoiled as his personal care giver Satyajit drugged him over the years with sleeping pills in a planned manner.  The paper also alleged that the Baba was kept a hostage by the Trustees and their followers for several years. It is now the turn of Satyajit to become a hostage in the hands of the Trust members.

 

Satyajit wanted to meet the media and openly deny these allegations but he was not reportedly allowed to approach the media by the Trustees for the simple reason that he may reveal the secrets and the goings-on in the Trust. The members of the Trust have assured him that it is their responsibility to deny the allegations leveled against him by the media.

 

The Trustees have also offered him with the responsibility of managing the Baba’s pet project Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vahini Trust just to please him and to ensure he would not slip out of their control.

 

In the Prashanthy Nilayam also, he is being moved from room to room daily to keep his movements highly secretive by the Trustees. The government has also provided him full security now as he is facing a threat to his life.
