The state government has beefed up security for Mr Satyajit and Dr. Aiyar, personal caregiver and personal physician respectively of the late God-man Sri Satya Sai Baba who passed away Sunday morning.
Police department has advised both of them not to make frequent public appearances after the Government has received intelligence inputs that they had carried threat to their lives. In fact, all the Trust members are now provided with additional security as reports indicated that certain elements are on the job to eliminate a few Trust members and others who were considered very close to Baba.
Satyajit is a frontrunner to the post of the Chairman of the Trust but he was facing allegations that Baba was not looked after well by him as a personal caregiver. Dr Aiyar, as a personal physician to the Baba, did not maintain his medical records before he was hospitalized on March 28.
Some hardcore devotees of the Baba even threatened to kill Dr Aiyar for his careless attitude towards Baba. In view of these developments, the security for Satyajit and Dr Aiyar was beefed up.
