Former Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has offered to build a washroom in Delhi BJP office. For this, Kejriwal wrote a letter to the New Delhi Municipal Council and expressed his concern over the lack of toilet facility for women in the BJP office. For this, Kejriwal said he will be using MLA LAD [ Local Area Development] funds.
Arvind Kejriwal claimed that the Delhi BJP office comes under his constituency and so he offered to construct four washrooms in the premises of the office. “Lack of ladies toilets in Del BJP office. I hv told NDMC 2 construct it from my MLA fund as BJP office is in my constituency,” tweeted Kejriwal on Tuesday morning.
Well, this offer came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 'Swatcch Bharat' campaign highlighting the cleanliness and sanitation issues.
