President Pranab Mukherjee has spoken about many aspects that have been apparently hampering the growth of the country. Mr Pranab Mukherjee has said that the corruption in country was a threat to the democratic system. He has also said that good governance was important and said it should be the goal. Expressing his concern towards increasing crime rate in the country, Pranab Mukherjee said police should make it a point that criminals should be punished and also said that judiciary process should be swift.
As Central Bureau of Investigation celebrating its golden jubilee, President Pranab Mukherjee attended a programme held by CBI wherein he addressed the CBI officials today. It has to be mentioned here that CBI, the country's premier investigation authority, was established on April 1 1963. Since then it has been actively taking up complex cases and cracking them efficiently. CBI's current big investigation is apparently against YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy and his alleged ill-gotten money.
