The long standing comradeship between anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare and his former lieutenant Arvind Kejriwal has ended as the man from Ralegan Siddhi said that he is not going to vote for Kejriwal's Aam Admi Party. And surprisingly when asked about whether Kejriwal has become 'greedy' for power, he said "it was right." He went on to blame Kejriwal for the divide in anti-corruption movement and alleged that his (Kejriwal's) fascination for power was the cause.

Changing his earlier statements where he said that he would campaign and vote for Aam Admi Party, he said during an interview to a popular news channel, "I thought I will vote for AAP but now I find it difficult because it is being seen that it is moving towards the path of 'money through power and power through money', I will not be anywhere near them."

He also added that he was completely unaware of Kejriwal's political ambitions, "This is right. Earlier I used to think that Arvind is into selfless service. But I don't understand how this thought of entering politics came into his mind," he said.
