On Wednesday, Aleppo a city in Northern Syria was devastated by a series of explosions which had claimed the lives of at least 40 people and over 90 people have been wounded in them. The facts were given by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, citing medical sources.

There were four blasts which had ripped up Aleppo's primary Saadallah al-Jabiri Square and a fifth struck a few hundred metres away according to the national television. The fifth bomb blasted on the fringes of the Old City where rebels and forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad have been fighting.
