Only a day before Gandhi Jayanti, some naughty miscreants had successfully knocked of the Father of the Nation’s glasses. At the historic Ralegan Siddhi, the place where Anna Hazare started his journey against the corruption an year ago, the Gandhi statue no longer has the spectacles that were once present.  

Anna Hazare’s hometown in Ahmednagar, Ralegan Siddhi is a district in Maharashtra. Anna Hazare with his noble cause and fights has earned himself the title of the Gandhi of modern days.

Authorities said they were yet to find out who stole the spectacles.

Anna Hazare, earlier today morning had met with his preferred aide in erstwhile Team Anna, promising his support to his political party after Kejriwal’s humble request. He also met several other activists and the media in Delhi today.
