Owners cut hand after worker asked for salary

A fight between two owners and a worked had begun at a local alcohol manufacturing unit in Garwha. Owners Ram Singh Yadav and Uday Yadav had cut the workers' hand for asking them his hard earned salary. Ram Singh Yadav had been arrested by the police and they are further investigating the motives behind the incident, Dr Mical Raj, the SI of Garwha Police said.

The victim had been admitted to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi for the treatment. The doctors said that he might not be able to work for life.

His wife woefully said that he was a mere laborer who went to ask for the salary but his hand was mercilessly slaughtered by the owners. She has questioned how they would be fed that they now had no source of income. She added that they would not even have firewood as his husband also used to cut wood for the family.

Arjun Munda, the chief minister of Jharkhand, however, was nonchalant after the incident had come to light and he was questioned on the same. On being questioned on the incident he indifferently replied, "As far as law and order situation is concerned or if we see national crime bureau's report, Jharkhand is in a very good stateā€.
