17 women escape from rescue home

In a rescue home run by the government in Mumbai, 17 women inmates had escaped on Monday, the police said.

According to the police, all the 17 women who escaped were earlier rescued from raids all over the city at ladies' bars and prostitution dens.

Govandi Police station registered a complaint and further attempts to trace back the escaped women were being made.

Recently Mumbai's super cop Vasant Dhoble had rescued several girls in illegal parties and dance bars though he received severe criticism from the citizens. But this incident proves that increasing number of women are resorting to the sinful ways to earn a living, so much so that they are unable to lead a normal life.
