A legislator the state had taken off his shirt on Monday in the Jharkhand Assembly to ensure that his point is heard. With his gesture of removing the shirt in the Assembly, the session had to adjourn.

Immediately after the Assembly had begun at 11 am, members of the opposition had rushed to the house and shouting discordantly on different topics creating havoc in the House. They had also begun a discussion on the topic of government acquired land from the villagers.

Lost in the din, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) MLA Samresh Singh had ripped off his shirt to ensure that he had the attention of the presiding member of the Assembly. This gesture had prompted C P Singh, the Speaker of the Assembly to adjourn the session for an hour.

The session after its resumption had not gone any better with the continued din from the opposition whichhad led to another adjournment.
