The prime accused in the molestation incident outside a city pub in Guwahati who had incited the mob of 30 to attack the girl was spotted near Kolkata. The police have decided to telecast his photo on local channels and reward the people who provide valuable information that would help in the man's arrest.

Amar Jyoti Kalita, who was seen in a red t- shirt in the video trying to strips the girls shirt off, had provoked the whole nation. The chief minister of Assam has said that the culprit was last seen in Mumbai last week and that the police were trying to track him. Gaurav Jyoti Neog, the reported of the news channel that filmed the incident and went on to upload it on youtube, was arrested last week. Investigations revealed that he was a close friend of Kalita and had also incited the men to attack the victim.

The incident was filmed by News Live in which Mr Neog worked earlier. News Live had defended its action of filming the act by saying that it was unable to fight the mob and hence tried to document the incident to seek justice at least.
