Mice are always clever. If you don't believe, then you have the trial-and-error experiment by famous psychologist to prove your notions are wrong. But, again if you want something out of text book, then this photo would obviously make you awestruck. This photo, which was posted to one of the blogs (without any information on geographical identity) shows a mouse hiding in a corner or a window while the cat eagerly waits for the prey.

Had mouse not been intelligent, it would have tried to escape off that place. However, it struck in that place. After waiting for more than an hour, the cat lost its patience and went off that place. Later, the house owner reportedly let the mouse out of the home. So, that way the mouse had a happy ending.
