Person morphs PM's photos

A person in Bangladesh has allegedly morphed the images of the prime minister and home minister. He had pasted the face of the prime minister with the image of the half naked woman's body. This incident came to light when the police got a tip-off. The police visited the house of Shariful Islam at Maizdi and arrested him. This is around 150 kilometres away from Dhaka. According to the police, Shariful Islam was asked to open his Facebook page and on opening, they were astonished looking at the morphed photo of their prime minister Sheikh Hasina.

The police said that the accused was doctored the images of not just the prime minister but even the images of the home minsiter and other top leadership. The accused would at least face up to 10 years of imprisonment for indecent representation of women and defamation charges if he's proved guilty of the offence, added the police.  The police also said that the accused was an advertising professional.

In fact, the Bangladesh police have intensified their checkings on the online offences against Hasina. It was stated that several facebook pages were created to reportedly aim at the prime minister and last month, a student was arrested for posting obscene remarks on Hasina. In January too, a person was arrested for making derogatory remarks on Haseena's father.
