Ramarao On Duty had a grand reelase and the word of mouth is extremely disappointing. Ramarao On Duty collected quite low numbers on its first day. The second day collections are pathetic. Ramarao On Duty is declared as one more disaster in Ravi Teja's career.

The film's theatrical rights are valued at Rs 18 crores and the film will end up collecting less than Rs 6 crores in its final run. The film is expected to end its theatrical run by the weekend and the weekdays would collect nothing. Ravi Teja played a honest government officer in this action thriller and Sarath Mandava is the director. Divyansha Kaushik and Rajisha Vijayan are the heroines. Sam CS is the music director and Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer. Ramarao On Duty will end up as one of the biggest disasters in Ravi Teja's career. The actor is done with the shoot of Dhamaka and the film releases this year. He is also shooting for Ravanasura and Tiger Nagaeshwar Rao.
