Minor's love story goes a little too far

The story of a teenage girl and her teenage boyfriend killing the girl's mother took place in Nashik on Monday but the event had seen the light of the day only on Thursday.

Gurvinder Sing Kaur (40), mother of Gurusimran Kaur (16), learnt of her daughters love affair with Moin Aslam Shaikh (17) and rejected the duo being together. The teenagers met each other at RYK college and later had an affair while they studied toghther at the college.

On July 1, the mother quarreled with the daughter over the issue after which the girlfriend informed the boyfried of the happenings. Enraged, Moin Aslam arrived at the girls house at 7:30 am located at Takili Road, Shankar Nagar, armed with a knife. After a heated argument between the beau and the girl's mother, Shaikh brutally attacked her with the knife and the daughter strangulated and suffocated her to death with a pillow to the face. Later they dumped her body at Kasara Ghat in the girl's car.

Meanwhile the girl's brother had lodged a missing complaint with the Bhadrakali Police after which  cops started an investigation. During the search they found out about the duo's affair and on further questioning they allegedly confessed their crime. Cops later traced the body after the confession.

According to the police, the teenagers met while they were studying at the same college and then got romantically involved. Gurusimran Kaur and Moin Aslam Shaikh, both students of RYK College, had an affair.
