Tremors were felt at Indonesia's Samatra island on Saturday. The earthquake was recorded at 5.9 on rector scale. No casualties were reported and damage was also not caused due to the earth quake.  The earthquake was said to have struct exactly at 11.34 am. Earthquakes are common in Indonesia as it is set amidst pacific ring of fire.
