Tremors were felt in several parts of the state. In Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Prakasam, Guntur, Krishna and Khammam districts tremors were reported this morning. In Suryapet and Miryalaguda people reportedly felt tremors three times following which they ran out of their houses and gathered at one place. Notably, earth quakes and tremors are usually not reported in Andhra Pradesh although slight tremors were felt on the outskirts of Hyderabad two years ago.
