The BJP senior leaders L K Advani and Sushma Swaraj are refraining themselves from the public meeting that is going to take place in Ahmedabad this evening. The BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman has said that Advani would be take part in the rally because of a prior fixing of an engagement and Sushma Swaraj has to attend a meeting in Ghaziabad in the early hours.

Advani and Sushma maintaining distance from the rally gave scope for speculations. Also, there was news in the air that Advani was not happy with BJP’s internal affairs. Condemning this news yet another time, BJP reiterated that there was no truth in the news that Advani is unhappy with the party affairs.   (Phani)
