US H-1B visas to Indians rise by 24%

H1BThe United States has rised H-1B visas to Indians by 24 percent in between 2010 and 2011.

On Tuesday The US government said that it had increased H-1B visas from 54,111 issued in 2010 to 67,195 in 2011.

In September this year 2011,India had brought America's consideration to the estimates by Indian industry that the uptake of H-1B visa this year had been less than half of the annual prescribed limit, and the rejection rates had gone up.As India had sought an early resolution to the problems being faced by the IT industry over H-1B visas in the US.
