Do you feel hungry often? You can’t resist your food cravings? For those who are dieting, food craving is the worst enemy. Mostly people crave for food which are highly procesed like junk foods which are high in sugar.

If you want to loose weight you have keep your cravings aside. So, here are 5 simple ways to stop food cravings

1. Drink Water

If you feel a sudden urge for eating specific food then try to drinking a large glass of water and wait a few minutes. You may find that your food craving fades away.

2. Eat More Protein

By eating more protein enriched food, your appetite will reduce and keep you away from overeating. Increasing protein intake may reduce cravings up to 60% and cut the desire to snack at night by 50%.

3. Divert your mind

Divert your mind
When you feel sudden urge to eat anything just divert your mind. For example, you can go for a brisk walk or listen to music or watch a movie or go for a shower . Just make yourself so busy that you don’t even get a thought of eating something.

4. Plan your meals

Plan your meals
If possible, try to plan your meals for the day or upcoming week. If you already know what you hve to eat you wont feel hungey. Always make sure you eat in regular intervels. Always dieticiens follow the regime of eating for every three hours. By doing this you won’t feel hungry.

5. Sleep Well

As per scientific rules, ever human being needs to sleep for atleast 7 hours a day. If you don;t sleep well, you will not feel energetic, which will lead to starvation and you finally end up eating junk.
