
The most awaited movie for the Diwali festival season where the audience have a gamut of options for the movie segment with several movies releasing is Sharrukh Khan starrer, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The movie has already started promoting its audio by releasing the songs on the YouTube.
Challa, the song from the musical maestro and Oscar-Award Winner, A R Rahman has been released online on Monday and it has immediately gone viral with over 25,000 views already in less than a day. A R Rahman is the composer for the movie from Yash Raj Films, which have united with SRK after a very long gap.
Gulzar, the noted lyricist has penned down the divine words from the song Challa for which the Sufi singer Rabbi Shergill has provided his voice. With scenes being filmed in several location of London packed with people, Khan sports his guitar amid the crowd. The song is a solo concentrating on the hero but a few glimpses of the heroine Katrina are shown in the movie.
SRK on his active twitter account said, "Challa will be out on the 1st of Oct. Looking forward to it...havent seen it since we finished shooting it."
Later he has also tweeted what the song meant in another tweet. "Challa Labda Phire". "As Rumi says the 2 insomnias of love where you keep searching for your lover. Thats the meaning of Challa ki labda phire.hope u all like it".
"When I am with u, we stay up all night, trying to find each other. When you're not here, I can't go to sleep....i wait for u. LABDA PHIRE," SRK continued to explain.
Yash Chopra based his movie, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, on a true love story. The film is slated for a Diwali release on Nov 13. The film also stars Anushka Sharma in the lead role.
