The hard work of Ajay Devgn is paying him off pretty well as his movie Son of Sardar is touching new heights  day after day. So far, the movie has earned a total of Rs 100.55 Cr  net domestically and still counting. The film had a massive opening collection figure of Rs 71.53 Cr net in India in the 1st week and managed to  maintain its steady collections over the box office even in the 2nd week. It is going strong to become one of most successful family entertainer of the year offering the perfect blend of spices suitable to the taste of Indian movie goers.

Even though the action Comedy flick has got mixed reviews from the critics, it received immense audience approval. It is also interesting to note that the film suffered many setbacks in the beginning after Ajay lost his case to Yash Raj Films over the alleged YRF monopoly in distribution. It was reported that SOS got only 15 percent of theaters for it's release while Jab Tak Hai Jaan dominated the rest.

If Ajay is smiling now we must say he earned it..!
