Actor Vishal Krishna was warned by senior actor and South Indian Film Artistes' Association [SIFAA] president Sarath Kumar for making derogatory statements against the Union. Vishal is unhappy with senior actors in the association and recently expressed interest in contesting SIFAA elections.
Vishal was alleged to have made controversial comments on the association over its decision to lease out its premises to a multiplex for over two decades for funds. These comments weren't well received by the association and Sarath Kumar stepped into action and warned Vishal. “When the association needed financial support, where were Vishal and others? It's best if he stops making these remarks about the association or he will face dire consequences and he will be removed from primary membership,” threatened Sarath Kumar.
However, Vishal denied these accusations and said he never made any comments against any individual or association. “I would kindly request Sarath Kumar to furnish the exact proof regarding my speech against the association,” added Vishal.
