Powerstar and Jr NTR have an enviable fan following. They are called lovingly with their nicknames most of the time, when their actual names happen to be Pawan Kalyan and Nanadamuri Taraka Ramarao. Now, filmmakers are using these nicknames to generate talk for their films.

Ok, one of the films is justified in using Pawanism title, as it is the fans themselves who are producing it. The film was launched on Sunday in the presence of Naga Babu. Pawan's fans have initiated the film at Annapurna Studies under the Dharma Saste films banner.

Next, Tamil actor Vishal is set to come forward again with a film titled NTR. The title's full form happens to be Nataraja Tanaya Raja. Incidentally, the film's Tamil version is also being referred with the title MGR.

Thus, popular nicknames are a selling point for films.
