OU students stall screening of CMGR

The Osmania University students were allegedly misled by miscreants on the powerstar Pawan Kalyan's super hit sensational message oriented film, Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu. The students were apparently under an impression that CMGR was against the sentiments of Telangana region and a few scenes in the movie were objectionable.

Irked with some of the scenes, Osmania University students have stalled the screening of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu at the famous Aradhana Theatre in Tarnaka of Hyderabad. The movie was also stalled at some of the theatres in Warangal wherein activists demanded that the screening of this movie must be stopped in Telangana regions.

When spoken to some of the film critics from Telangana region itself, they have said that Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu had nothing to do with Telangana sentiments since there were no such scenes, which took on the movement. The movie, however, was aimed at national integration.

One should understand that film forms the part of freedom of speech and expression, a fundamental right guaranteed to any Indian citizen, said film critics. As long as the movie has any message, which doesn't go against the law, it can be screened at any theatre, they added.
