The Southern leggy lass, Ileana D' Cruz ventured into Bollywood with Barfi and won many positive reviews from acclaimed industry pundits. This simply should translate into openings for  Ileana. Yeah the film directed by Anurag Basu, and produced by Disney UTV has raked in nearly three hundred percent of what was invested on the project. And the film which deals with the life of a deaf and mute boy, played by Ranbir Kapoor, and his bonding with an autistic girl (Priyanka Chopra) is still running to packed houses.

As per the grapevine the film shall find it's way into Kollywood first and then shall be dubbed into other languages too. The rumor adds on that even a big star had shown inclination  to act in this film. However the UTV rubbished those rumors and said that the issue is still under the wraps.

However Barfi is on its flight to Oscars in spite of plagiarisms controversies. The film had defied the original making of the S S Rajamouli's Eega (Naan Ee in Tamil) a possible chance for display at the nominations. Critics believe that this could have showcased the country's technical excellence had Naan Ee also been nominated, but limitations...(With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
