Nampally court in Hyderabad has sentenced three months imprisonment to Tollywood actor Navdeep in drunk and drive case. The court gave verdict that Navdeep should pay a fine of Rs. 8000 failing which he has to undergo three months' jail term. It may be noted that Navdeep was booked for alcohol consumption while he was on drive. After two years of trials, the court came out with this verdict.

It may be recalled that Navdeep was found driving the car very rashly in Hyderabad in 2010 during late night. He was stopped by the police and was found to have consumed alcohol. Later, to escape police, Navdeep took the wrong route and was finally caught. He then abused the cops. Banjara Hills police then filed a criminal case against him.
