Drunken hit and run case: Five arrested for killing a Bouncer:- Police in Hyderabad have apprehended five young individuals, including a woman, in connection with the hit-and-run incident that occurred on Wednesday. The incident resulted in the death of a bouncer and left another injured. The car involved in the accident, which had temporary registration, was brought to the SR Nagar police station. Later today, the police are expected to provide further information regarding the case.
The incident took place near the Peddamma temple in the affluent Jubilee Hills area early on Wednesday morning when a car collided with a motorcycle. Tarak Ram, a 30-year-old bouncer employed at a prestigious hotel in Madhapur, was riding home with a colleague on the motorcycle when the speeding car struck them at the entrance of the temple. After hitting the two-wheeler, the car swiftly fled the scene. Tarak Ram, who sustained severe head injuries, tragically lost his life on the spot, while the other bouncer, Raju, suffered critical injuries and was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, Tarak Ram's family staged a protest at the Jubilee Hills police station, accompanied by his lifeless body, demanding the arrest of the individuals responsible. Tarak Ram, a resident of Sikh Village in Secunderabad, had been married for two years and had a seven-month-old child. He was the sole provider for his family, which included his widowed mother. The police focused their attention on the car and specifically targeted individuals who were inside the vehicle.
