Telugu Pop lady Singer Smita turns devotional with her new album ‘Ishana...the path of the divine.’ The album which is dedicated to her Guru also shows her philanthropic side. The entire proceeds of the album go into powerful inner transformation programmes and inspiring projects for society and environment through Isha Foundation. Speaking to media sources the singer said, “This album is an offering to her Guru, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, Founder of Isha Foundation.” The album is to be released under the auspicious of the Sadguru, by renowned actor and dancer Hema Malini at the Coimbatore Ashram on Maha Sivarathri (Feb 20). “Ishana” will be available in stores across Andhra Pradesh by 18th February, 2012 which is two days prior to Maha shivaratri.
The album is filled with six melodious tracks invoking divine grace. The album also has two video tracks shot in the picturesque locations of Velangiri Mountains near Coimbatore where Isha ashram is located. Music is rendered by Nihal, videos by cinematographer Sameer Reddy and the photo session is shot by Tarun Khiwal, who has also joined the video shoot department. The dances are choreographed by Vijay of TV show “Dance with me”, produced by Smitha herself.
Live telecast of this programme can be seen on Astha TV and a few other national and regional channels. Media launch for AP will take place on 29th February, at Hyderabad.
