On day 11th of FIFA at Brazil, a surprise victory is witnessed with quick goals. South Korean team lost to Algerian team by 4-2.
Compared to the first match of South Korean team with Russia, their performance in the match with Algeria is very unimpressive. They just were looking helpless when Algerian team took goal after goal. Algerian goals were impeccable where as Koreans went with empty spots in their defense.
It is also a possibility that Algerian team watched Koreans playing with Russia and could have noted down the weak points in Korean team which made the Korean team to make it harder to win over Algeria unlike winning over Russia.
Even line up of best 11 by the Korea’s head coach Hong Myung is criticized by even hard core fans of South Korean team.
Only way South Koreans get a chance to stand is that they beat Belgium and at the same time Russia beat Algeria. But Belgium is the top seed in Group H having the highest ranking of 11 in FIFA. In spite of it there is a ray of hope to South Koreans. That is the decision of the Belgium coach not to put his first 11 in line but to give chance this time to other players.
