Hosts of the FIFA World Cup 2014, Brazil have reached the semi-finals with 2-1 win over Colombia in the quarter-finals. However, there is a bad news for Brazil as the main striker, Neymar Jr has been ruled out of the tournament following a bad injury during the match.
Thiago Silva of Brazil scored the first goal at the seventh minute from a corner by Neymar and David Luiz converted his free-kick into goal in the 69th minute. Colombia struck in the 80th minute by James Rodriguez but the goal did not save the match for them.
This is Brazil's first semi-finals match in 12 years and they will be meeting Germany on Tuesday in Belo Horizonte. Germany beat France in another quarter-finals with 1-0 goals. Mats Hummels scored for Germany in the 13th minute.
