Corey Anderson of New Zealand has broke Shahid Afridi's World record of fastest ODI century yesterday. The 23 year old NZ batsman scored century in 36 balls against West Indies in the third ODI match at Queenstown Event centre. As the match was delayed due to weather, the umpires made the game to a 20 over one and NZ posted a massive total of 283 runs batting first.
In reply West Indies batsman did not dare to fight back and so they lost the match by 159 runs. New Zealand also recorded the best runrate ever in ODI with 13.47 per over. Anderson was rewarded with Man of the match.
