There is high alert in the city now after the Hyderabad Twin blasts in Dilsukhnagar recently that killed over 15 people and at least a hundred were injured. But this is not a factor that deters Warner who says, he is here to play and not worry about other issues. In fact, he says he feels safe with the security in Hyderabad.

With the recent blasts that shook the whole state, and the nation, the security measures have been beefed up in all the metros in India. With a match scheduled at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, all the major roads leading to the same were being monitored carefully, especially since the stadium is not very far away from the incident of the mishap.

Several people voiced their concern in the issue while asking the venue to be shifted but BCCI insisted on the match being conducted in Hyderabad. The police have assured unparalleled levels of security. There are over 2,000 police and armed forces deployed for the security at the stadium.

Warner who is here on his First Test tour, though he has been to India several other times before says he feels very safe in India with the security around him.

Currently the security in the stadium is very tight and there are over 60 CCTV cameras near the vehicle checkpoints, scanners, and other places in the city. Mobile phones, bags, banners and cameras are banned prohibited inside the stadium.
