India’s famous off spinner Harbhajan Singh was nostalgic about his exclusion from the Indian squad against England. But was patriotic when he said it is not the individual but the country was important. He was also much matured when he wished the younger lot a great success and was humanely Indian when he wanted the team to avenge the humiliation faced by winning all the games against the touring team.
He further said, I wouldn't say I was hurt. I was more surprised. I wish the younger guys all the best. I am more than happy to share my experience with them like I was helped by Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble and Sourav Ganguly while I was coming up.
Dropped following a lacklustre tour of England, Harbhajan said that despite not being a part of Indian side, he would like to see his teammates take revenge over England in the five-match series, starting on Friday in Hyderabad. England recently conquered India 0-4 in the Test series before inflicting a humiliating 0-3 defeat in the five-match one-day series on home ovals. Critics in recent times have found fault with Harbhajan's bowling, saying it was not penetrative enough but the bowler begged to differ with his transformation at the crucial moment for the Mumbai Indians in the recent Champions league.
