Happy Birthday, Google now 14

Google has announced and celebrated its 14th birthday on Thursday with a new Google Doodle chocolate cake. Fourteen candles lit up make their presence on the cake as a single click, which should be considered synonymous to blowing them, put out the candles and reveal the letter that spell Google on the cake.

The candles on the bottom of the cake arrange themselves as tally count of 14.

Google Birthday has always been a controversial issue. Earlier until 2005, the date was supposedly September 7 as per the celebrations in the organization which is actually 3 days after it was filed for incorporation on September 4, 1998.

The date was updated to September 27 later after the search engine giant has been celebrating on that day ever since.

The brain child of Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Google was intended to be an organized way of browsing the internet to make the virtually never ending data accessible to the world.

Once you click Google Doodle today you would be redirected to the search results page which show all the products from Google including the Google Wiki, a new project from the organization.
