Tasty And Easy Onion And Paneer Paratha Recipe:- Onion and Paneer Paratha is a flat Indian flavored bread that is perfect for morning breakfast This paratha is packed with the goodness of whole wheat, enhanced with various seasoning. This is a wonderful dish for the kid’s lunch box. This paratha tastes best when served hot. Try this tasty and easy paratha recipe at your home.

Preparation Time: 15 min; Cooking Time: 15 min;  

Ingredients

For the dough

- 2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)

- 2 tsp oil

- Salt to taste

- water as required

For The Stuffing

- 100 gm paneer (cottage cheese), grated

- 1 cup chopped onions

- 1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania) leaves

- 2 tbsp garam masala

- salt to taste

- 1 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste

- 1 tsp green chili paste

- 1/2 tbsp red chili powder

- 2 tsp oil

Other Ingredients

- whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling

- oil for cooking

Directions

For the dough

1. In a bowl, add wheat flour, oil, salt, and enough water and knead into a soft dough and knead it nicely.

2. Cover the dough with a wet muslin cloth and keep it aside for 10 minutes and after 10 min, divide the dough into equal portions and keep it aside.

For the stuffing

3. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and fry till the onions turn brown in color.

4. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chili paste, mix it well and fry for 1 minute.

5. Add the paneer, mix it well and fry for 2 minutes.

6. Switch off the flame, add the salt, garam masala and red chili powder and mix it well.

7. Divide the stuffing into equal portions and keep it aside.

How to proceed

8. Roll out a portion of the dough into a circle of 4” diameter and place a portion of the stuffing at the center and bring the edges together at the center to seal tightly.

9. Roll out again into a circle of 6” diameter by using little whole wheat flour.

10. Heat a tawa and cook each paratha by using little oil and cook till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.

11. Serve it hot with any side dish of your choice and complete a hearty meal.
