Fish is one of the favourite recipes to most of us. Among different types of fish recipes, fish pakoda can be prepared easily. The crispy and marinated fish pieces can be a best option to take it as an evening snack as it has good nutritional value. By following the easy method of preparation, enjoy the delicious recipe at your home with your friends and family.
Ingredients:
500 gm fish - filleted and cut into desired sized pieces
For marination:
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
For the batter:
200 gm gram flour
Water
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp crushed cumin
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp soda bi-carbonate
Oil for deep frying
Chaat masala
Method of preparation:
Make a thick batter with water, flour, red chilli powder, cumin, turmeric, salt and soda bi-carbonate.
Coat each slice with the batter and deep fry.
Sprinkle with chaat masala and serve with ketchup or chutney.
