The Delhi Police have sent notices to former Union minister Shashi Tharoor in connection with the mysterious murder of Sunanda Pushkar. A day back, the Delhi Police have confirmed Sunanda's mysterious death as murder and also registered first FIR under Section 302 of IPC in this case. Though Shashi Tharoor is in Kerala, he was asked to join the investigation the earliest.

The Delhi Police has formed a Special Investigation Team [SIT] to probe the case afresh and Mr. Tharoor will be questioned under Section 160 of CrPC. The fresh medical reports said, Sunanda was murdered and this turned the entire course of the case. Shashi Tharoor was shocked upon hearing this while the relatives of Sunanda said, they knew it was a murder.
