Subramanian Swamy’s Plea Seeking Probe In Sunanda Pushkar’s Death Dismissed:- BJP leader Subramanian Swamy’s plea seeking probe in Sunanda Pushkar’s death was dismissed by the Delhi High Court, on Thursday. The court said that his plea was a “political interest litigation” dressed as a PIL.

The plea was a clear example of “political interest litigation”, said the High court and it was left with that impression and the BJP leader apparently concealed data and information that he should have revealed earlier.

Subramanian Swamy tweeted that he would address the media later. No support was received from the Central government and the Delhi police to the veteran leader, as they told the High Court that they do not scribe to Swamy’s views that the previous probes was influenced by Shashi Tharoor.

Asking for a court-monitored probe in Sunanda Pushkar‘s mysterious death, Swamy had filed the petition. Subramanian Swamy and his lawyer were also warned by the court, to be extra cautious while leveling wild allegation, reported a leading news channel.

On January 17, 2014, Sunanda Pushkar was found dead in Delhi’s Hotel Leela. At around 9 p.m. the body was discovered by her husband Shashi Tharoor in the room. Sunanda Pushkar had an ugly spat with Pakistan journalist Mehr Tarar on Twitter, a day before her death.
