Six people who arrived at Delhi airport today morning from Ebola-hit Liberia, have been isolated and taken for further medical tests. Also 112 people are arriving at the Mumbai and Delhi airports on seven flights through the day and officials are made precautionary arrangements.
At Mumbai and Delhi thermal scanners are arranged which will determine whether any passenger has fever or any kind of disease that relates to Ebola. Four immigration counters have been set up and two people from the airport health organisation are manning a special desk at the Delhi airport.
Passengers with symptoms suggestive of EVD, will be directly shifted to designated hospital in ambulance from the airport said an official.
