Kavitha summoned again in Delhi Excise Policy Case:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha has been facing allegations in the Delhi Excise Policy Case and she was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate earlier. Kavitha received summons for the second time in the Delhi Liquor scam case and she has been asked to appear before ED tomorrow. She was questioned in March this year in the headquarters of ED in New Delhi. She also submitted her mobile phones to the agency after the investigation was completed.

After lot of allegations, the Delhi Excise Policy for 2021-22 got scrapped and an investigation was initiated. The Centre recommended a CBI probe in the incident under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Delhi Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is jailed in the case from the past few months after a thorough investigation. Several leaders from the Telugu states are named in this scam. Couple of leaders from AP turned approvers in the case and they promised to co-operate for the investigation. There are reports that Kavitha met Vijay Nair in March 2019-2020.

Kavitha worked as an MP for Nizamabad in the past and she lost in the previous elections. She was later elected as an MLC from Nizamabad. KCR and the family members of Kavitha backed her saying that she would come out with a clean chit soon in the Delhi Liquor Policy Case.
