Disciplinary Action Against Telangana Chief Commissioner:- Naveen Mittal is a principal secretary and holds full additional charge as revenue and chief commissioner of land affairs lands in deep trouble. Telangana High Court questions Telangana state government about Naveen Mittal’s case.

In detail, the court has ordered action against Mittal for delinquently issuing a no objection certificate (NoC) for 5,262 square yards of land in 2017 in Nanalnagar, Gudimalkapur. Mittal was a district collector of Hyderabad at that time. Court has also directed the state government to take disciplinary action on former collector VV Venkat Reddy special tahsildar and P Madhusudhan Reddy, senior draftsman and P Babu Rao along with Naveen Mittal.

The allegation was that Naveen Mittal without verifying the documents allotted NoC to the party who applied for.

Shanti Agarwal purchased land in 1965 from K Devi and Basanth Devi in 1965, it was a evacuee property and bought it in an auction conducted by a managing officer, at Regional Settlement Commission, Bombay.

Syed Abdul Rub and others claim that they are the land owners and applied for NoC in 2009 to the committee headed by Naveen Mittal to construct sheds. Shanti Agarwal filed a petition in 2011 claiming that they fabricated the documents. In 2011, the sub-registrar of Hyderabad also wrote a letter to the collector that the records are not matching.Mittal ignored the letter and allotted NoC.

Telangana High Court took it seriously and asked to take disciplinary action against Naveen Mittal. Mittal filed an appeal in the Supreme Court, where it was rejected. But the TS government, rather than taking action against him, posted him as chief secretary.

Shanti Agarwal appealed to counsel that there was no action taken on Naveen Mittal and he is holding the highest post in the revenue department now in Telangana. On this process , High court has questioned the state government and asked to come with an answer before August 31st.
