YS Jagan has Flags Off 516 E-Autos:- As part of the Clean Andhra Pradesh (CLAP) program, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan has flagged 516 e-autos today at Tadepalli CM Camp office at 9 AM. Swachandra corporation MD, CDMA, municipality special officer Y Srilakshmi and others have taken care of the inauguration program as directed by the Chief Minister on Tuesday.
Under the ‘Jagananna Swaccha Sankap’ the government’s firm committed to ‘Clean Andhra Pradesh’. As part of this program government has taken the distribution of 516 e-autos in 36 municipalities across the state to collect segregated waste collection from households in 79ULBs. With the e-autos diesel and fuel maintenance will come down and also waste collection will be done in a fast process.

The e-autos each with a capacity of 500kgs and each cost around Rs4.10 Lakh. Women drivers have been trained for the electric three-wheelers. The government also floated a tender for five years of annual maintenance of e-autos.
Andhra Pradesh government so far has colour coding (red, blue and green) which is wet, dry and hazardous waste for 123 municipalities to 40 lakh households at a cost of Rs 72Cr. The same process will be continued with e-autos also.
