Jagan says Andhra Pradesh likely to get 1 Crore Covid-19 Vaccine Doses:- Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan told that in the next three to four months there are expected to get one crore doses of coronavirus Vaccine. "The government is gearing up for administering the vaccine of coronavirus", he added.
The Centre specified that the coronavirus vaccine would be available in 3-4 months and in the first phase it would be covered to one crore people in the state.
The CM said, "In the first phase, 3.6 lakh health care workers, seven lakh frontline staff of other departments, including the police, sanitation workers and 90 lakh people above 50 would be given the Coronavirus vaccine."
The CM Jagan told that the 4,065 cold chains at 2-8 degree centigrade and 29 refrigerated vehicles are ready to handle the vaccine. He asked the Centre would supply the necessary cold boxes and syringes.
He also said that 19,000 Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery would be used for administering the coronavirus vaccine, in the meanwhile Asha workers were also being trained for the purpose.
At the state, district and mandal-levels, the task forces were constituted to ensure the distribution of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, he also told to the people that they should take all precautions for some more months. Even if the Covid-19 vaccine is available, everyone will not get it in one-go. So, we need to be so much careful for some more time. The cases could go up in this winter month, he added.
