Pranab Mukherjee Passed Away:- Indian senior politician and ex-President Pranab Mukherjee got admitted to a private hospital in New Delhi after he was tested positive with coronavirus. The veteran politician himself revealed the news and the hospital authorities announced that his health condition declined and he is in septic shock due to lung infection. The 84-year-old politician breathed his last this evening at 5:45 PM at The Research and Referral Hospital in New Delhi. A team of specialized doctors kept monitoring his health and they said that the health condition of Pranab Mukherjee worsened yesterday. Pranab Mukherjee was admitted to the hospital on August 10th and he was operated to remove a clot in his brain.

Pranab Mukherjee was tested positive when he was admitted in the hospital. He then developed a lung infection and kidney disfunction. Pranab Mukherjee slipped into coma after the surgery and never recovered back. The hospital released a statement this morning and it said "There is a decline in the medical condition of Hon’ble Shri Pranab Mukherjee since yesterday. He is in septic shock due to his lung infection and is being managed by a team of specialists. He continues to be in a deep coma and on ventilator support". Pranab Mukherjee's son Abhijit Mukherjee announced the news about his demise. Pranab Mukherjee was into politics for five decades and he worked as the Indian President between 2012 and 2017.

Pranab Mukherjee worked as the Union Finance Minister between 2009 and 2012. He also worked as the Union Defence Minister between 2004 and 2006. He also worked as the Minister for External Affairs between 2006 and 2009. Pranab Mukherjee stayed in Congress party over his political career. Pranab Mukherjee was conferred Padma Vibhushan in 2008 and Bharat Ratna in 2019. The last rite of Pranab Mukherjee will take place tomorrow. Rest in Peace Pranab Mukherjee.
