Pakistan Issues Ban on Masood Azhar:- A day after the United Nations declared Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist, Pakistan issued ban on him and ordered to freeze his assets in the country. Pakistan imposed a travel ban on Masood Azhar. The foreign ministry said, "the Federal Government is pleased to order that the Resolution 2368 (2017) be fully implemented" against Masood Azhar. Appropriate action would be taken on Masood Azhar if he is found or spotted in the country said Pakistan.

This turned out to be a major diplomatic win for India after China lifted its hold on a proposal by the US, the UK and France to blacklist him. In the UN Security Council meet, USA, UK and France moved the proposal to designate Masood Azhar as a global terrorist. Soon after the developments, Pakistan too turned positive and imposed ban on Masood Azhar who has been carrying surgical strikes across various countries and he turned out to be a threat for the world.
